Private Ice-Skating Lessons
Cabin John Ice Rink has many coaches who offer private and semi-private lessons. Only coaches who have contracts with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Montgomery Parks may teach private lessons here. Private instructor fees start at $35 per half hour and fees are paid directly to the instructor. Skaters will also need to pay for admission/ice time and skate rental (if needed) before the private lesson.
Please take the following steps and contact instructors directly to schedule a lesson:
- Contact one of our instructors to arrange for a private lesson time.
- Agree on a lesson time with the instructor considering your personal calendar and the instructor’s availability.
- If needed, pre register for ice time (public skating, freestyle session, Stick ‘n puck session) in Active Montgomery.
- You will pay your instructor directly for the lesson. Their 30-minute and 15-minute rates are listed in their bios below.
