Picnic Shelter*
*We are currently not renting the shelter or campfire ring at this time.
Would you like to host an event in our picnic pavilion? The pavilion is available from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. It is covered and includes six picnic tables. Fee: $25 per hour.
Picnic Shelter Guidelines
- Maximum capacity is 50 people.
- Use of the campfire area and stage is prohibited.
- Use of portable grills is prohibited.
- Groups will supply their own trash bags. Groups are responsible for disposal of their trash and will take trash home with them for disposal.
- Picnic tables cannot be removed from the picnic shelter.
- Group activities and noise will be kept to a minimum.
- Adherence to Montgomery Parks regulations is required.
- Groups are responsible for keeping the area clean. Please leave the picnic shelter area as you found it.
- Please limit your activities and food consumption to the picnic shelter area.
- Payment is required in full at the time of reservation; refunds are not issued unless the reservation is canceled by the nature center.
- Payment must be made by cash, credit card, or by check made payable to Active Montgomery. Please contact the nature center to pay via credit card.
