School Programs

Maydale Nature Classroom provides a variety of programs and experiences for students of all ages. Our goal is to excite students through experiential programs, developing along the way a sense of responsibility towards our natural resources.

What is the cost?

In support of K-12 Environmental Literacy Graduation Requirements, Maydale Nature Classroom and other Montgomery County Parks Nature Centers will be waiving the student fee for all K-12 students in Montgomery County attending programs that meet these requirements. They are marked with an asterisk*.

For other programs, preschool groups, and out-of-county groups, students are charged a $6 program fee.

We can accommodate up to thirty participants in total including students, teachers, and chaperones per field trip. Groups that exceed this maximum will need to be split amongst multiple days.
