Memory Café at Meadowbrook Park
The Memory Café at Meadowbrook Park is offered through a partnership between Carpe Diem Arts and Montgomery Parks, bringing creativity into the natural beauty of the park setting. Designed for individuals experiencing memory change and their care partner, the café invites pairs to participate side by side in therapeutic arts experiences inspired by nature and taught by master teaching artists. With welcoming activities, relaxed social time, and light refreshments, participants share meaningful moments, creative expression, and a growing sense of community. Indoors/outdoors (weather permitting). Registration is required.

- The schedule is subject to change. All changes will be reflected on this webpage as soon as possible and in the confirmation email registered participants receive ahead of each session.
While you do not have to register for each session, we will send you a confirmation email ahead of each session and ask that you confirm if you will be attending. This helps us plan for the right amount of people.
We require that all participants with memory change come with a care partner, who can be a significant other, friend, family member, or hired support professional. The goal of the program is to encourage participants and their care partners to build their own relationship and to make new connections with other participants.
The program will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather or if less than two care teams are able to attend. If a program is cancelled, we will email you by 7am the day of the program and will follow up with a phone call by 9am if needed. This webpage will also be updated in case of cancellation.
