This October, take a Halloween-themed ride aboard the miniature trains.
Each rider is given an “Eye Spy” card with seasonal items such as pumpkins, ghosts, and black cats to look for along the tracks during the ride. The train stations Día de los Trenes (Wheaton) and Trainsylvania (Cabin John) will be decked out in seasonal decor. Fun for all ages!
Children and adults alike are captivated by our miniature trains running through Cabin John Regional Park and Wheaton Regional Park. The trains are replicas of the 1863 C.P. Huntington, a 4-2-4T steam locomotive purchased by the Southern Pacific Railroad and named in honor of Collis P. Huntington, President of the Southern Pacific Company.
