Bike valet is a fantastic way to ditch the lock and roll into Sligo Creek Fest with ease!

There will be two bike valet areas located along Sligo Creek Parkway, one close to University Blvd and the other close to Dennis Avenue (see event map for exact locations). Our bike valet accepts all types of bikes, including road bikes, e-bikes, and cargo bikes. They also accept bike accessories, helmets, strollers, and scooters. Bags will not be accepted.

What is a bike valet?

  • A bike valet is like a coat check for your bicycle. Leave your bike or scooter with trained attendants who securely park and store it for you.

How It Works

  • Upon arrival at the bike valet area, you’ll be asked to provide your name and cell phone number. The valet will generate a digital claim ticket to check in your bike which will be delivered to you by SMS text message. They will then attach a numbered ticket or seat cover on your items and securely store them in the monitored area. Any additional items you want to check with the bike (helmet or other accessories) will be noted in the item record. The valet may also take a photo of your items for reference.
  • If valeting multiple bikes using the same cell phone number, you will receive a text message for each item checked.
  • When ready to leave, simply show the text message with your ticket number to the valet. They will then retrieve your bike and check you out in their software. If you have more than one bike checked, show each message you received.
  • To ensure no bikes are left behind, those who have checked items in with the valet will receive a text message 15-30 minutes before the end of the event as a reminder to collect items.

Is it free and safe?

  • Absolutely! The Montgomery Parks Foundation is sponsoring the bike valet service, so it’s free for event patrons to use. Your bike will be parked in a secure area, under constant surveillance by bike valets to prevent theft or damage.
