The Washington Nationals Miracle Field

The Washington Nationals Miracle Field, located in South Germantown Recreational Park, serves as the home for the Miracle League of Montgomery County, which provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to safely play baseball. The field incorporates a cushioned synthetic turf that accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices while striving to ensure safe play and inclusion.

Miracle Field is a fenced outdoor surface suitable for a variety of athletic and recreational activities. It is available for use by those who have obtained a permit. In addition to baseball, acceptable uses include:

  • Tai chi
  • Aerobics
  • Yoga
  • Zumba
  • Dance
  • T-ball
  • Kickball
  • Dodgeball

Field Rental

Inquiries regarding the use of the field for field sports (e.g. baseball, soccer, kickball, etc.) should be directed to Montgomery County’s Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF). Inquiries regarding the use of the field for other sports (e.g. tai chi, yoga, aerobics, etc.), recreational activities, or special events should be directed to the Park Permits Office .

Miracle Field’s surface is ideal for many activities; however, it is susceptible to damage from items such as high heels and cleats. To prevent damage to the field, please read the guidelines for use on the Rules and Policies webpage.

Rental Fees

  • Youth (17 and under), all sports, unlit Field: $25 per hour
  • Adults (18 and over), all sports, unlit Field: $30 per hour
