Greenwood Local Park comprises 28.2 acres along Georgia Avenue north of Elizabeth Drive and borders Greenwood Elementary School. The park features a playground, two tennis courts, a handball court, two full basketball courts, and a gazebo. A multipurpose field is located along the north side of the park and overlaps the school property. M-NCPPC acquired the park in 1972.
