Residents will speak with Park planners in a virtual meeting on January 10, 2024

WHEATON, Md. – Montgomery Parks is asking residents to weigh in on future improvements to Gunner’s Lake Local Park in Germantown. At the meeting, Parks staff will introduce the renovation project and possible improvements. They will then listen to residents’ ideas about the project.

What:     Gunner’s Lake Local Park Virtual Community Meeting

When:     Wednesday, January 10, 2024, 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Details:    The meeting with be conducted in English, with translation to Spanish and Chinese.

Gunner’s Lake Local Park is located at the intersection of Great Seneca Highway and Wisteria Drive in Germantown. It features a playground, a softball field, and two soccer fields. 


The park’s renovation is expected to include improvements to the playground and picnic areas, as well as accessibility improvements and better access to the park from the surrounding neighborhoods.
