Soccer Fields
Gunner’s Lake Park features a playground, a softball field with backstops for practice, and two soccer fields. The soccer field is a permitted field, but is first-come, first-serve if not reserved. You can also enjoy a picnic at a covered picnic shelter and playground at Gunner’s Lake Park. M-NCPPC acquired this 8.9-acre park in 1982.

Rent a Picnic Shelter at Gunner’s Lake Park
Picnic shelter reservations are first-come, first-served and are available to rent from April 1 to October 31.
To reserve a shelter, create an online account through ActiveMontgomery.
Or you can call the Montgomery Parks Permit Office at 301-495-2525 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
