Heritage Days at Oakley Cabin African American Museum and Park

Tour the restored 19th century log cabin, home to African American tenant families during the late 1800s. Explore the rhythms of West Africa, the Caribbean, South America and Europe through dance with the Cultural Moves Dance Ensemble led by Martha Peterson. Enjoy live music performed by blues musicians Jay Summerour and Eric Selby, storytelling and historic games. Make your own natural floral prints with artist and educator, Katrina Zimmerman. Co-sponsored by Story Tapestries.
