Max Aaron Jump Clinic

Jump into the new season with stronger jump elements!

Max Aaron Headshot

We are excited to welcome back our guest coach, Max Aaron. Max is a US Men’s Figure Skating Champion, four time US World Team Member, Skate America Champion, and international medalist. Max grew up in Arizona and then trained in Colorado Springs under renowned jump technicians Tom Zakrajsek and Christy Krall. He was one of the first U.S. men to consistently perform quad jumps in competition and since his competitive retirement has coached at clinics around the world sharing his knowledge and experiences.

This four hour clinic will focus primarily on jumps and jump exercises. Max will introduce both on and off ice techniques to improve jump height, rotation speed, consistency, and improved GOE scores on jumping elements. The clinic will include time both on and off the ice. Skaters should be able to do single jumps through a flip.

Skaters should bring sneakers or athletic shoes for off ice training, yoga mat, jump rope, water bottle, and snacks. Max will be available for some private lessons for clinic skaters and information will follow after registration.
