Montgomery Parks ‘ Natural Resources Stewardship Section is seeking experienced, safe, and responsible archery and firearms hunters to add to its qualified participant roster in order to help sustain and expand our managed deer hunting programming.
Since 1996, Montgomery Parks has utilized carefully screened, qualified, and licensed recreational hunters to reduce and maintain deer populations in accordance with the County’s deer management plan. These management programs are facilitated on designated park locations across Montgomery County and follow strict safety and procedural guidelines. All State and local laws are met and/or exceeded across each of the Managed Deer Hunting Programs. These management programs provide excellent opportunities, a quality experience, and enjoyment for today’s exemplary hunter, while simultaneously achieving deer population management objectives.
