Plumgar Local Park features an accessible playground, a lighted and accessible basketball court, and an accessible multi-use area. Its name, “Plumgar,” comes from a Saxon word meaning “where the plum trees grow.” M-NCPPC acquired this 8.5-acre park in 1975.
