Corporate and Group Volunteer Days
We welcome community and corporate groups for a day of team building and working in the great outdoors! In the past, groups have helped us build play elements in our Natural Exploration Area, cleaned up our stream, pulled invasive weeds in the park, and planted new trees and native plants. Please note, ALL of our group volunteer work is outside! Our facilities are too small to accommodate groups for volunteering inside. To learn more and schedule your group volunteer day, please call the Nature Center: (301) 765-8660.
Gold Award and Eagle Scout Service Projects
We are proud of the contributions scouts have made to beautifying our park and making it a fun and safe place to play! In the past, scouts have built play elements for our Natural Exploration Area, campfire stoves, wood sheds, and more. We have a pre-approved list of projects ready to go! Call the Nature Center to learn more: (301) 765-8660.
