

WHEATON, Md. – Montgomery Parks received top awards for creative marketing campaigns including The Butterfly Experience and the Parks Ale Trail at the 2025 MarCom Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP).
Montgomery Parks received the highest MarCom honor, a Platinum award for The Butterfly Experience marketing campaign, and three Gold awards for its Parks Ale Trail campaign, an “Ask the Expert” video, and television placement for the Long Branch fish passage. The department also received Honorable Mentions for the Montgomery Parks newsletter, social video about the Trail Ambassadors program, and a magazine article about the Augmented Reality Experience tour at Oakley Cabin African American Museum and Park.
The MarCom Awards honor excellence in marketing and communications while recognizing the creativity, hard work, and generosity of industry professionals, and is one of the largest, most respected, creative competitions in the world. This year’s competition received over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and 41 other countries. About 15% of MarCom award entries earn a Platinum award recognition, approximately 18% earn the Gold award, and 12% receive an Honorable Mention.
