Montgomery Parks will close facilities and parkways early on March 16, 2026, due to inclement weather

Wheaton, MD – Due to anticipated inclement weather and hazardous conditions, Montgomery Parks is closing all facilities and portions of its parkways today starting at 2 p.m., to help ensure the safety of park visitors and staff.

Parkway Closings

Portions of Montgomery Parks parkways will be closed due to unsafe conditions, including but not limited to the following:

Montgomery Parks will continue to monitor conditions and reopen facilities and parkways when it is safe to do so. Visitors are encouraged to check the Montgomery Parks website and social media channels for updates.
