Montgomery Parks presents GreenScapes: Practical Tools for Designing Resilient Landscapes

WHEATON, Md. –  Montgomery Parks announces Brookside Gardens’ annual virtual symposium, GreenScapes on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

GreenScapes is a daylong series of live, online lectures on the latest advancements in landscape design strategies for industry professionals, homeowners, and master gardeners with an interactive Q&A component. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available from 13 professional organizations (full list of participating organizations is available on the event website).

The focus of this year’s program is “Practical Tools for Designing Resilient Landscapes.” Experts will discuss and offer strategies to create sustainable landscapes that are resilient against climate change. Attendees will learn how to make informed plant selections and develop successful designs based on a range of environments, ecological benefits, and sustainability goals.
