- A picnic shelter, drinking fountain, bicycle parking, and trash cans
- New enclosed soccer and basketball courts, along with a new dedicated outdoor fitness area
- A paved loop path to improve accessibility throughout the park
- A skate park with lighting
- A lighted, infill-free synthetic turf soccer field
- Stormwater management with native plantings to support environmental sustainability
- Pedestrian lighting to enhance safety and visibility
“These improvements are the result of outreach we have been doing for the Long Branch Parks Initiative to address the park, recreation, and public space needs of the Long Branch area strategically and holistically,” said Miti Figueredo, director of Montgomery Parks. “We’re excited to deliver expanded recreational opportunities while incorporating environmentally responsible design.”
