Montgomery Parks invites visitors to enjoy midweek melodies during Fall Twilight Concert Series at Brookside Gardens 

WHEATON, Md. – Join Montgomery Parks every Wednesday evening in September for a free concert at Brookside Gardens. The Fall Twilight Concert series offers visitors a chance to enjoy free live concerts on the Visitor Center lawn, while picnicking or enjoying food and drinks purchased from vendors. 

What:      Fall Twilight Concert Series 
When:     Wednesdays in September, 6:00-7:30 p.m. 
Where:    Brookside Gardens, 1800 Glenallan Ave., Wheaton, MD 
Parking:  Available in the Visitor Center parking lot at 1800 Glenallan Ave. or the Conservatory parking lot at 1500 Glenallan Ave.  

 
“As fall arrives, summer vacations end and we get into the rhythm of back to work and school,” said Stephanie Oberle, director of Brookside Gardens. “The Twilight Concerts are a perfect way to reset with nature, music, and community. Come alone or with your friends and family to gather on the lawn to picnic, dance or just relax and enjoy the music.” 

The concert series is one of the few times picnicking is allowed in Brookside Gardens. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets for seating. Hammocks, tables, beach umbrellas, pop-up tents and other structures are not allowed. Smoking and alcohol are prohibited.

Refreshments: 
Tacos El Pariente / Mexican food (tacos, burritos, tortas, birria with vegetarian options) 
Once Upon A Potato / Custom potato bowls with an international flair (vegetarian options) 
Ben & Jerry’s of Rockville / Assorted ice creams 

September 10, 2025 

Music: Patty Reese / 70’s & 80’s Rock Hits 
Refreshments: 
Money Muscle BBQ / BBQ Texas brisket and wood fired pizza 
Two Smooth Dudes / Loaded tater tots, healthy wraps (vegetarian options) 
Ben & Jerry’s of Rockville / Assorted ice creams 

September 17, 2025 

Music: The Sidleys/ Indie Rock/Soul 
Refreshments: 
Rice Around the World / Rice and salad bowls, wraps (vegetarian options) 
The Crepe Shoppe / Sweet & savory crepes (vegetarian options) 
Ben & Jerry’s of Rockville / Assorted ice creams 

September 24, 2025 

Music: The Olney Big Band/Traditional Big Band Jazz, Swing and Dance 
Refreshments: 
Catalyst Hot Dogs / Classic and specialty hot dogs 
Bun’d Up / Taiwanese buns (vegetarian options) 
Ben & Jerry’s of Rockville / Assorted ice creams
