The park will be awash in pink as families, friends and local leaders gather to stand with Black women and everyone touched by this disease. This second annual The Park Goes Pink event represents the continuation of a vital moment for cancer prevention and education. African American women in Montgomery County face a 40 percent higher mortality rate and often receive diagnoses at later stages, so we must come together to turn the tide!
