Join us at Wheaton Regional Park on Saturday, October 18 from 10AM – 2PM for an unforgettable community celebration of breast cancer awareness in Montgomery County. The park will be awash in pink as families, friends and local leaders gather to stand with Black women and everyone touched by this disease. Enjoy live music, delicious food, fun games and engaging activities for all ages. Wear your pink attire, bring your neighbors and secure your spot at the fall’s most anticipated event.
This second annual The Park Goes Pink event represents the continuation of a vital moment for cancer prevention and education. African American women in Montgomery County face a 40 percent higher mortality rate and often receive diagnoses at later stages, so we must come together to turn the tide!
