Join us for Fun on the Farm, a weekly summer program where kids can dive into farm-themed arts and crafts activities, all while learning about the history and significance of their masterpieces! It’s a perfect opportunity for kids to get out of the house, unplug, and have fun while getting hands-on with creative projects and learning about the exciting world of agriculture!
In this hands-on summer program, kids will dive into the world of Flower Art, exploring creative techniques like flower pounding, flower pressing, and making their own beautiful floral arrangements. They’ll discover how to press flowers to preserve their vibrant colors, create striking prints through pounding on fabric, and design stunning bouquets using a variety of flowers. Along with these activities, children will also learn about the history and cultural significance of flower art, from ancient traditions to modern floral design. It’s a perfect opportunity for kids to connect with nature, express their creativity, and gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty of flowers.
This is a drop-off program, but parents are welcome to hang around the farm park during the class. Please be sure to dress for the weather and bring water.
