Calling All Little Musicians and Performers
On June 18 at Falls Road Local Park (12600 Falls Rd., Potomac, MD 20854), join Montgomery Parks from 10 to 11 am for a Parks Playhouse Junior event—live performance by Milkshake Music.
Make sure to prepare for each event by bringing your sunny day gear and blankets or lawn chairs for viewing. Make it a mid-morning picnic by bringing along your favorite snacks and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show. Parks Playhouse Junior performances will be rolling throughout the summer on both weekday and weekend mornings from 10 to 11 am.

About the Performance
Milkshake makes rock music for kids—with real guitars, real grooves, and real heart. Led by singer Lisa Mathews and guitarist Mikel Gehl, whose songwriting has been featured in movies and prime-time television, the band delights preschool audiences without ever dialing back their craft, energy, or authentic rock-and-roll spirit.
