Join a Park Naturalist for an off-site hike and get to know a new park! Includes 1 hour hike and social chat at the end. The Nature on Wheels vehicle will provide seating, water and bathroom access (using stairs). This event is for beginner hikers with more emphasis on nature interpretation. Trail is selected for level or grassy walking surface and distance will be under 1.5 miles. Slopes on these trails can be moderate.
Meet at Fairland Recreational Park, 3928 Greencastle Rd., Burtonsville, in the Northernmost parking lot near the Playground and soccer field 3. Look for the Nature On Wheels vehicle.
