The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission

Inclusive Sensory Saturday: April Sensory Saturday

The Farm Park has teamed up with Program Access to create an inclusive experience for visitors with sensory sensitivities. Each month, the program will feature a different theme, with sensory stations designed for interaction. Visitors of all abilities are welcome to engage, with supportive staff available on-site. To ensure comfort, a variety of alternative seating, fidget tools, and other sensory-friendly materials will be provided for a welcoming and inclusive experience.

The $5 fee is per participant – their accompanying companions are free. The program will be held on the historic side of the farm park. Take the first right onto the gravel road and park in the grass field in front of the farmhouse. Montgomery Parks tents and tables will be set up near the white fenced-in garden to the left of the farmhouse. Restrooms and access to water are available in the Activity Center which is located at the end of the main road.
