Homeschool History: Homeschool History - Sept. 25

Step back in time and experience the past in a truly immersive way with Homeschool History at the Farm Park. This program series combines historical learning with practical, hands-on activities that bring history to life. Each class will cover a different theme from the Farm Park’s history, in which students will gain a deeper understanding of historical practices by actively engaging with the tools and techniques used in day-to-day life. Your child will leave with a richer understanding of history—and a greater appreciation for the simple joys of farm life. This Fall, children will get to enjoy a whole new set of historical themes, including: Early American Life, Gardens and Plants, Food Preservation and Canning, Historical Games, Baking and Holiday Traditions! Each week, we will announce the theme on our Facebook page. Other exciting themes may be added, so be on the lookout! This is a drop off program, but parents are welcome to hang around the Farm Park during the class. Please be sure to dress for the weather and bring water.
