Wild, Wacky, and Weird: Spring Break Activity Series: Take a (spring) break with us and join one or all of the activities offered throughout the week. Each program is one hour and may have an outdoors component. Please read the descriptions below carefully for details on each session. Participants will only be allowed to attend their registered session.
Grab a net because we are “crawling” the creek looking for macroinvertebrates. We will learn about these aquatic bugs before heading down to the creek to get our feet wet. As we collect our critters, a naturalist will enter them into a phone app that will help us learn about water quality. Participants will get wet and closed-toe shoes are required. Rain prior to the event or cold weather will cancel this program. Adult chaperones are required to attend with each registered participant, but do not need to register. Please register all children.
