Clay Creations: Sculpting Farm Animals and Pottery

Join us for Fun on the Farm, a weekly summer program where kids can dive into farm-themed arts and crafts activities, all while learning about the history and significance of their masterpieces. It’s a perfect opportunity for kids to get out of the house, unplug, and have fun while getting hands-on with creative projects and learning about the exciting world of agriculture!

In this exciting summer program, kids will learn about the history of sculpting and discover how different cultures have used clay to create art and functional objects throughout time. After exploring the rich history of sculpture, children will have the chance to work with air-dry clay to sculpt their own farm animals and pottery. They’ll follow simple instructions to shape their creations, using their imagination and newly learned techniques to bring their ideas to life. By the end of the program, each child will take home their own hand-crafted sculptures, along with a deeper appreciation for the art of sculpting.

This is a drop-off program, but parents are welcome to hang around the farm park during the class. Please be sure to dress for the weather and bring water.
