Birding is for anyone with a passion for nature. Join us for an afternoon of birding at Locust Grove Nature Center. We will start off the program with a brief introduction to birding, along with helpful birding tips. Then for those who wish to practice their birding tips can join a naturalist on a guided walk on our trails. Another naturalist will also remain at the bird feeders with those who wish to remain on our back deck. Binoculars are recommended, however we will provide binoculars if needed. This program celebrates Pride Month by providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for all participants who would like to join, especially for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC identities, accessibility communities and their families.
