Sip Into Spring at Acoustics and Ales
Kick off your Memorial Day weekend with an evening of live music, craft brews, and great food. This month’s event features local musician Ted Garber, a genre-blending multi-instrumentalist with his ‘Blues Americana Rock’ style. Enjoy beer and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase, plus a variety of food trucks on site.

About the Artist
Self-styled “Blues Americana Rocker” Ted Garber emerged on Washington, DC’s original music scene in 2005 with the local release of two debut albums: the solo Ted Garber EP and Achilles’ Heel. Ted began performing in New Orleans while attending Tulane University and has performed at DC’s 9:30 Club, Blues Alley, Strathmore, and Nashville’s Bluebird Café. Ted has also performed at Montgomery Parks’ Sligo Creek Fest, Sunday Serenade, and previous Acoustics and Ales events.

Parking and Public Transportation:
- Parking: Some parking is available on site. Guests are encouraged to walk or take public transportation.
- Public Transportation: Ride On Bus Routes #12 or #19 to Flower Ave & Plymouth St. Walk south along Flower Avenue toward 8746 Flower Ave. Continue past the surrounding neighborhood entrances and follow the paved path into Flower Avenue Urban Park, where you will arrive at the event space.
