W.A.N.D.E.R. Birding Basics for Women and Non-binary Individuals

Learn a variety of outdoor skills in any of our workshops.

“Whether at home in our backyards or traveling afar, birds bring us joy anywhere we go! Learn how to begin or take your birdwatching to the next level.

We’ll cover:
– How to use binoculars (frustration-free tips!)
– How to look at a bird using field marks.
– Common backyard birds
– Tips for finding birds on the trail

Bring your binoculars if you have them, or borrow one of our pairs. This workshop is designed to empower beginners in learning practical and fun outdoor skills. No experience required; beginners are encouraged! Please register in advance and dress for the weather, as we will be outside for a portion of the program.”
