Calling All Little Musicians and Performers

Parks Playhouse Junior returned in summer 2026! This children’s entertainment series is the perfect activity for little ones this summer. Attendees came out to enjoy one hour of immersive, kid-centric entertainment! Performances will engage your child’s imagination and get them moving and grooving. This past lineup included sing-a-longs, dance-a-longs, puppet shows, theater performances, and new this year – bubble shows and science shows!

This series will take place throughout the summer on various weekday and weekend mornings from 10 to 11 am.*

When attending Parks Playhouse Junior, bring your sunny-day gear, water bottle, and blankets or lawn chairs for viewing. Make it a mid-morning picnic by bringing along your favorite snacks and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show!

Cost:: All Parks Playhouse Junior performances are free.
Parking and Transportation:: Parking and transportation vary at each park location. Please check each event listing for more information.
Restrooms:: Portable restrooms or indoor facilities will be available at each event and will include ADA accessible units. This will vary at each park location. Please check the event listings for more information.
Accessibility:: Parks Playhouse Junior events are generally accessible in accordance with the 2010 ADA Standards and Guidelines. Accessibility varies at each park location. American Sign Language:: Some events will have an ASL interpreter to accompany the performance. Check the event listings to identify which performances will have sign language provided.
Seating:: Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for seating at all Parks Playhouse Junior events. Seating will not be provided. Attendees are discouraged from bringing tents and pop-up pavilions.
What to Bring:: Guests are encouraged to prepare for the summer heat by wearing sunscreen, bringing a hat or head covering, and bringing their own water. We cannot guarantee shade at each park location.
Pets:: Pets are allowed at all Parks Playhouse Junior events but must remain on a leash while on park property. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste in the proper receptacles.
Weather:: If this event is cancelled due to inclement weather, there will not be a rain date.
