Cabin John Regional Park features Shirley Povich Field, home of the Bethesda Big Train, a summer baseball team made up of outstanding young college athletes playing in the Cal Ripken, Sr. Collegiate Baseball League.
The park also offers five softball fields (one accessible) and a baseball field, which are available for use by permit only.
