School Program Information
Habitat Hike:
Brookside Nature Center offers a Habitat Hike Field Trip experience.
This hour-long outdoor program focuses on the following content:
All living things need food, water, shelter, and space. Students will investigate the elements of a healthy habitat by exploring different habitats and look for signs of the animals that live there.
Recommended for grades Preschool – 4th grade.
What is the cost?
$7 per student for an hour long program. Some programs have a supplemental materials and/or activity fee.
To support Montgomery County Schools in meeting the Maryland Environmental Literacy Graduation Requirement, environmental programs for all K-12 Montgomery County students are FREE! Discount will be provided upon registration.
