History Hour: Before it was Leisure World there was an Edmonson Farm

This lecture will reveal the remarkable story of Paul Edmonson, a formerly enslaved man who built what became one of the largest Black-owned farms in Montgomery County. Learn about his 14 enslaved children, the family’s attempts to escape, and their participation in the abolition movement.

Recommended for all ages.

Admission is $5 per person.
