Branching Out: Dead Hedges for Beauty and Function in the Garden

Discover how natural branches and plant materials can be transformed into beautiful dead  hedges, garden borders, and sculptural features. The first half is an indoor lecture covering  practical techniques and design ideas. Then we’ll explore new garden sites outdoors, seeing these rustic, eco-friendly structures in action, enhancing the garden while providing habitat for wildlife.

NOTE: This in person event will take place in the Visitor Center Adult Classroom, located at 1800 Glenallan Avenue, Wheaton, MD 20902.
