Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Day at Brookside Gardens on Sunday, April 26, with activities geared toward children and their families. Explore the science and art of sustainability through child-driven projects, plantings, and crafts. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Event hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The primary event area is the Visitor Center Lawn. The Visitor Center will be open with public bathrooms and a water station available inside.

During the event, picnicking is allowed, but only within the designated event area during event hours.

In the case of inclement weather, please call the information desk, 301-962-1400, for updates.

This event is proudly sponsored by the Friends of Brookside Gardens.
