Not a creature was stirring…or was one? In the winter, raptors – also called birds of prey – are stirring quite a bit! They are out looking for a territory and a mate, and with the trees still bare it’s the perfect time to see them. Join us in this online class to learn tips and tricks for identifying local owls, hawks, falcons, and vultures and build “ID” skills to flex as a birder. The class will end in a raptor-watching hike at Meadowside Nature Center on a date determined by the students.
