Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started, these sales are your chance to upgrade your yard, while supporting Montgomery Parks programs.
Fall native plant sale details:
Brookside Gardens Fall Plant Sale | Saturday, September 13 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Early access for Friends of Brookside Gardens members: 9 to 10 a.m.
Brookside Gardens
- Choose from wide selection of premium perennials, shrubs, and trees, including native varieties, grown at Montgomery Parks’ Pope Farm and local nurseries.
- Get expert advice from staff horticulturists.
- All proceeds support free programs and events at Brookside Gardens.
- Friends of Brookside Gardens members receive a 10% discount.
- Plant list available at Friends of Brookside Gardens.
Fall Native Plant Sale at Pope Farm Nursery | Saturday, September 20 to Sunday, September 21 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pope Farm Nursery (7400 Airpark Road, Gaithersburg)
- Shop selection of unique, high-quality, low-maintenance, pest-resistant native plants.
- Learn how to attract pollinators and wildlife from staff experts.
- Pope Farm Nursery tour at 1 p.m. both days (only open to public during the sale).
- Proceeds support educational programs at Locust Grove Nature Center.
