Birdhouse Builders: Crafting Homes for Birds

Join us for Fun on the Farm, a weekly summer program where kids can dive into farm-themed arts and crafts activities, all while learning about the history and significance of their masterpieces! It’s a perfect opportunity for kids to get out of the house, unplug, and have fun while getting hands-on with creative projects and learning about the exciting world of agriculture!

In this hands-on summer program, kids will have the opportunity to build and paint their own birdhouses, combining creativity with construction skills. They’ll start assembling a birdhouse using simple tools and materials to create a safe and functional home for local birds. Once the birdhouses are built, children will unleash their creativity by painting and decorating their creations. Along the way, they’ll also learn about the importance of birdhouses in supporting local wildlife and some of the history behind the activity. It’s a perfect blend of crafting, learning, and fun in the great outdoors.

This is a drop-off program, but parents are welcome to hang around the farm park during the class. Please be sure to dress for the weather and bring water.
