Join us on a van trip to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia. At 214 acres, it is the largest green space in the city of Winchester, where the art, history, and culture of the Shenandoah Valley is interpreted. And the Glen Burnie House, with its surrounding seven-acre gardens, remain an important part of this year-round regional history complex. During our visit, we’ll tour the historic Glen Burnie House and the galleries, which feature art and furniture collected by the original families through the years as well as new art exhibits. After, we’ll explore the gardens and hike the trails on our own. Bring your picnic lunch to enjoy in the gardens. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable hiking shoes. FOBH $58
