Montgomery Parks to close some outdoor amenities due to excessive heat warning

WHEATON, Md. – Montgomery Parks, is closing various outdoor recreational amenities this weekend, Saturday, June 22 – Sunday, June 23, 2024, due to excessive heat warnings. The following activities will be suspended:

Brookside Gardens Conservatory will be closed this weekend, due to high temperatures. The Conservatory hallway will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for access to bathrooms and the drinking fountain. The Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
