Beloved concert series returns Sunday, March 30, 2025.

WHEATON, Md. – Celebrate the arrival of spring with music and community as Montgomery Parks presents the return of the Sunday Serenade series at Cabin John Regional Park. The spring edition kicks off on Sunday, March 30, 2025, 10–11:30 a.m., promising a feast for the ears and soul with a lineup that will leave guests delighted and ready for the week. Best of all – admission is free.
Each Sunday through April 13, experience the magic of live music in a natural setting, featuring an eclectic mix of artists and genres that cater to all musical tastes. This season, Montgomery Parks has three unforgettable performances lined up that will make your weekends truly special.
The series launches with a special performance for Women’s History Month by ZADIA, a neo-soul singer-songwriter and Maryland native. With musical influences from legends like Billie Holiday, Anita Baker, and Sade, ZADIA’s soulful melodies are sure to impress.
Sunday Serenade Spring 2025 performances:
- March 30: ZADIA ‒ Silky smooth neo-soul and R&B.
- April 6: King Soul ‒ An eight-piece Southern soul powerhouse, King Soul delivers original songs and electrifying covers with strong vocals and a killer horn section that will have you dancing in no time.
- April 13: Zachary Smith & the Mardi Gras Kings ‒ Get ready for an eclectic, high-energy mix of zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans jazz, and funk as Zachary Smith & the Mardi Gras Kings bring the spirit of Mardi Gras to Montgomery County. (There will not be food or beverages available to purchase for this event.)
While enjoying the concert, guests are encouraged to treat themselves to delicious pastries, coffee, and tea from local favorite Ella’s Bake Shop, available for purchase each week*.
