Concept plan map of Long Branch-Arliss Neighborhood Park including Courts and Picnic Area, Long Branch Public Library, Stage and Community Lawn, Dog Park, and Playground.

Project Description

This project will renovate Long Branch-Arliss Neighborhood Park to provide improved and new amenities for the community including a community stage, dog park, updated courts, picnic areas, and a new playground.

Background

Long Branch-Arliss Neighborhood Park is a 6-acre park next to the Long Branch Library. Existing park amenities include a playground, half basketball court, and tennis courts. Long Branch-Arliss Neighborhood Park is part of the Montgomery Parks Long Branch Parks Initiative. The goal of the Initiative is to address the park, recreation, and public space need of the Long Branch area strategically and holistically. By planning and designing Long Branch parks together, the Parks Department has opportunities to meet the varied park needs of the community using all the parks in the area.

Status/Project Update
