Beach Drive (Garrett Park Road to Grosvenor Lane): Road Work
Beginning November 2, 2026 and continuing for approximately 60 days, Montgomery Parks will complete roadway and trail improvements along Beach Drive and nearby areas.
Work includes:
Shifting and repaving Beach Drive near Wexford Drive
Asphalt repairs on a section of the Rock Creek Trail
Repairs to the crosswalk at Wexford Drive
Repaving Wexford Drive to the Knowles Avenue intersection
Pothole repairs from Knowles Avenue to Grosvenor Lane
Please use caution when traveling through the area and follow all posted signs. Digital message boards will be placed along the corridor to provide construction updates and traffic notifications.

This park features a playground, two softball fields, and a multiuse field as well as the Veirs Mill Park Activity Building, which is available to rent. Montgomery Parks acquired the park in 1975.
