The Montgomery Avenue Dog Run is a 0.31-acre temporary recreation space located on two recently acquired Montgomery Parks properties in downtown Bethesda. Acquired in 2025, the properties have been activated as a new community amenity while Montgomery Parks continues to advance the long-term vision for an urban recreation park identified in the 2017 Bethesda Downtown Sector Plan. The dog run will serve as an interim use as additional properties are acquired and the future park continues to evolve.
