Montgomery Parks will be conducting renovations at Glen Mar Park to improve accessibility, update aging features, and enhance the overall visitor experience.
Planned Improvements
- Improved access: New concrete walkways will replace aging asphalt and improve connections throughout the park.
- Playground upgrades: Expansion of the upper play area for younger children, a new play structure, and replacement of worn materials.
- Recreation improvements: New basketball backboards and preparation for future court resurfacing.
- New furnishings: Picnic tables, benches, trash cans, and bike racks installed on concrete pads.
Some areas of the park may be temporarily closed during construction. On-site signage will provide updates on closures and work activities.
