Montgomery Parks promotes sustainable nuptials at Upcycled Wedding Fair

WHEATON, Md. – Montgomery Parks invites couples to embrace sustainability at its Upcycled Wedding Fair . The event will feature recently married couples selling like-new wedding essentials, making it easy to save money, reduce waste and host a beautiful celebration with a lighter environmental footprint.  

What:    Upcycled Wedding Fair 

When:   Sunday, February 22, 2026, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. 

Where:  Rockwood Manor, 11001 MacArthur Boulevard, Potomac, MD 20854 

Details:  Customer registration is free on ActiveMontgomery  
               Vendor registration is $25               

 In addition to shopping for unique and affordable wedding decor, attendees will have the opportunity to: 

“The Upcycled Wedding Fair is a wonderful opportunity for couples to connect with others who are planning this major life event and see the beautiful event spaces we offer at Rockwood Manor,” said Lucy Cosgrove, venue manager at Rockwood Manor. “Many couples these days want to celebrate their new beginning in a way that honors nature and the environment. This event helps them do exactly that.” 

Space is still available for those interested in selling their pre-loved event items and decor. Vendors must register in advance on ActiveMontgomery. The $25 registration fee includes the use of a six- or eight-foot table and two chairs. For more information on becoming a vendor email Rockwood Manor.
