“Valentine’s Skate is a wonderful opportunity to get outside in the middle of winter and have some fun. Even people who are not skaters can bring chairs and a picnic and relax on the lawn and enjoy the music and action.” said Megan DeMillo, Montgomery Parks special events supervisor. “If anyone is feeling the winter blues this is a great chance to skate it off.”

The Valentine’s Skate will also include a disco themed backdrop for selfies and plenty of opportunity to trade friendship bracelets. Catalyst Hot Dogs will be on site, offering specialty hot dogs and warm beverages for purchase. Skaters must bring their own roller skates; no rentals will be provided.
