Let’s head to the Western Shore and go fishing in our Chesapeake Bay! For this trip, the early bird catches the worm. We will meet at Meadowside Nature Center at 5:00 am to load the van and a Park Naturalist will take you to the docks in Solomons Island. Our fishing guide, Captain Jamey, has over 25 years of fishing experience and will be leading us on a 4 hour boat trip in the Bay. Targeted fish species will vary, gear will be provided, and fishing licenses are covered under the boat captain. Participants will need to be prepared for long hours on the water in the heat and sun. All you need to bring is your sense of adventure, sun protection, food, and drinks. Let’s go!
